According to a report by CoinDesk, a joint study by Ripple and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) shows that the global asset tokenization market is expected to exceed $18.90 trillion by 2033. The report states that while blockchain technology can significantly enhance the liquidity of traditional assets and reduce transaction costs, obstacles such as inadequate regulatory frameworks and lack of market infrastructure still need to be overcome. The forecast covers multiple asset classes such as real estate and private equity, and Ripple emphasizes that its blockchain solution has been validated in some institutional pilots.
