Grey releases restructuring of three major digital asset funds in the second quarter of 2024
Grey release (Grayscale Investments) announced that its three main funds under digital asset management - Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund, Grayscale DeFi Fund and Grayscale Smart Contract Platform - excluded Ethereum Fund and completed the fund restructuring following a review in the second quarter of 2024. The Digital Large Cap Fund maintained its weighting of major assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, while the DeFi Fund strengthened its holdings in leading decentralized financial platforms such as Uniswap and MakerDAO. At the same time, the smart contract platform adjusted its portfolio to exclude the Ethereum Fund, removing Polygon (MATIC). These adjustments are designed to respond flexibly to changes in the cryptoasset market according to their respective index methodologies.
