On July 8th, the ether.fi community voted to approve the "Deploy ETHFI Staking Contract" proposal, which seeks approval to deploy ETHFI staking contracts on the Ethereum mainnet. The ETHFI staking mechanism aims to provide real utility by linking rewards to governance participation and effective balance in the ecosystem. The staking contract will include future incentives and voting capabilities for staking tokens.
