CEO Ryan Selkis has called Securities Exchange Commission Chairperson Gary Gensler incompetent and corrupt. Messari plans to challenge the Securities Exchange Commission's legitimacy through legal, congressional, and media channels, arguing that modern technology has rendered the agency's functions redundant and that private market participants are better suited to meeting public needs.
