Vitalik: The main challenge of 32 bytes is at the contract level, while ERC-3770 is at the UI level
On July 9, Vitalik Buterin posted a message on the X platform today urging industry players to start rolling out ERC-3770 and ERC-7683. In response to community users pointing out issues that may affect future potential address space expansion, he added that the main challenge of 32 bytes is at the contract level (many contracts use mod 2 ** 160 to handle addresses), while ERC-3770 is at the UI level, the two are orthogonal to each other.
