The Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission announced that it will launch a new online application and submission system called e-IP on July 29, which is designed for investment products managed by the Investment Products Division. E-IP is based on the existing WINGS electronic service platform and is a one-stop online platform designed for e-IP users to submit new product approval applications and post-approval/registration applications or submit information and documents, track application progress, organize investment product data files, and settle related fees. After the launch of the new system, the industry will be able to submit applications for new product accreditation and post-accreditation/registration applications or submit information and documents through e-IP. At that time, the existing application and regulatory document submission channels will be parallel to e-IP for three months until October 29, 2024, so that market participants can familiarize themselves with the new system.
