The Crypto Open Patent Alliance is demanding compensation from Craig Wright for 85% of his legal fees
Legal representatives for the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) on Friday asked Judge James Mellor to approve Craig Wright's payment of 85% of the costs incurred by the organization in the legal proceedings.
In February, COPA took Wright to court to find out whether he was Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin. The presiding judge in the case, James Mellor, ruled in March that Wright was not Satoshi Nakamoto. Jonathan Hough, one of COPA's legal representatives, requested a civil restraining order against Craig Wright to prevent him from pursuing any other legal action.
