CoinGecko released the Crypto Industry Report for the second quarter of 2024. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization gave up some of its gains in the second quarter, falling by 14.4%. It closed at $2.43 trillion in June. Bitcoin fell by 11.9% in the second quarter, and the fourth halving had little impact on it. Its trading volume fell by 21.6%, with an average daily trading volume of $26.60 billion. Meme Coin was the most popular narrative in the second quarter, accounting for 14.3% of the market share.
