The notorious crypto-phishing app Angel Drainer has been shut down by its developers after it may have been identified, according to a report published July 16 by blockchain security firm Match Systems. Security analysts have previously blamed Angel Drainer for more than $25 million in cryptocurrency losses due to phishing scams.
