The Democratic National Committee of the United States will officially nominate Biden as the Democratic presidential nominee in August
According to CBS, a letter from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in the United States shows that the committee has decided that it will conduct a virtual roll call vote in August and formally nominate President Biden as the Democratic presidential candidate. "We will detail why virtual voting is the smartest approach and will explain how virtual voting works," said Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz and Leah Dottery, heads of the DNC's rules committee. "On Friday, we will present a framework for how best to conduct negotiations. Next week, we will continue with a second meeting to consider and adopt specific rules for this purpose."
