AI startup Anthropic launches AI fund to accelerate technological innovation
On Wednesday (July 17) local time (July 17), US AI startup Anthropic announced on its website that it will partner with Menlo Ventures to establish a new $100 million "Anthology Fund". The press release said that $100 million of the Anthology Fund will be funded by Menlo, and Anthropic will be responsible for providing technical support. Approved startups can receive $100,000 in investment and a "quota" worth $25,000 to access Anthropic's state-of-the-art models. Daniela Amodei, co-founder and president of Anthropic, said: "Through this collaboration, we hope to accelerate the development of breakthrough AI applications. We are particularly interested in companies that use AI to improve productivity in areas such as healthcare, legal services, education, energy, infrastructure and scientific research."
