The Emerson College poll shows former US President Donald Trump ahead of incumbent President Joe Biden in seven swing states. The survey also found that nationally, 46% of registered voters support Trump, 42% support Biden, and 12% are undecided. When third-party candidates join, Trump either maintains or expands his advantage across the United States and in six of the seven swing states, Emerson College said. The poll was conducted on July 15-16, and the national and state polls have a positive or negative margin of error of 3%.
