ZkSync project Gemholic suspected Rug Pull, 921 ETH stuck last year has been transferred
On June 8th, some community members responded that the zkSync project Gemholic was suspected of Rug Pull, and the X and TG group messages had been deleted. Gemholic's funds were stuck due to errors in the sales contract last year, and yesterday zkSync completed the v24 upgrade to recover the locked funds. Gemholic extracted 921 ETH from the contract and then crossed the chain to Ethereum through the Across Protocol.
In April last year, Gemholic, a project on zkSync, raised 921 ETH ($1.70 million) through a token sale, but the funds will be stuck in the smart contract forever. The transfer () function works on Ethereum and other EVM chains, but not on zkSync.
