Apple is working on a foldable iPhone that could be released as early as 2026, according to two people familiar with the matter. In recent months, Apple has approached Asian suppliers to build components for the phone. The phone can fold horizontally like a flip, the people said. That would make it similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, which will be released in 2020.
