India's election accident caused the stock market to crash, or further delayed cryptocurrency legislation
India's preliminary election results have been released, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) failed to win the expected seats, causing the Indian stock market to plunge and possibly further delaying cryptocurrency legislation.
Earlier today, India's NIFTY index and India's SENSEX index closed down 5.93% and 5.43%, their biggest losses in four years, with both falling 8% during the session.
