138th Ethereum ACDC Conference: Pectra Devnet 1 is live
Christine Kim, Vice President of Research at Galaxy, posted a summary of the 138th Ethereum Core Developer Consensus (ACDC) conference call. This week developers discussed the launch of Pectra Devnet 1, changes to the beacon block body structure and engine API, the inclusion of the Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) in Pectra (EIP 7688 and EIP 7495), and the update of PeerDAS and its implementation schedule on the mainnet. Among them, Pectra Devnet 1 went live on July 23, but the network is not stable. Parithosh Jayanthi, Developer Operations Engineer at EF, said that the Erigon client side encountered problems in the early days after the launch of Devnet. The subsequent EIP 7702 transaction broadcast on Devnet caused the network to split into three states. Developers are debugging the client side and resolving the chain split issue.
