Musk's X platform will train Grok AI models with public posts by default
According to an announcement posted by the X Platform (formerly Twitter) @Safety account, all X users can now control whether their public posts can be used to train the Grok AI search assistant. This option is enabled by default. In addition to the existing control options, users can also manage whether Grok-related interactions, inputs, and results are exploited. This privacy option is currently available on the web platform and will be rolled out on the mobile end. Users can find this option in the privacy settings (Privacy & Security - Data Sharing and Personalization - Grok - Data Sharing - Allows your posts and your interactions with Grok, inputs, and results to be used for training and fine-tuning), which can be set up in just a few clicks.
