A block options user on Deribit bought call and put Ethereum options at the end of September, totaling 6,000 ETH
Lin Chen, head of Asia Pacific commerce at Deribit, posted on the X platform that the largest block option in ETH today is that a user bought a call option and a put option of $3,200 at the end of September, totaling 6,000 ETH, and paid a premium of $3.906 million. The analysis believes that the investor is long volatility, and the ETH price will be profitable if it is lower than $2,600 or higher than $4,000 when the option expires. Compared with another BTC block option trade, it may be that the same customer shorts the volatility of BTC while long the volatility of ETH, and the price difference of the volatility will increase.
