Jupiter: The team follows the principles of 50/50 token economics and community interests first in its daily operations
On August 1st, Jupiter said in a statement that in order to continue to bring certainty, consistency, and transparency to the community, the team follows two important principles in its daily operations:
1. 50/50 Token Economics
The community needs to trust that the team will be wise to use the team-managed parts in a way that is fully beneficial to the Jupiter ecosystem; at the same time, the team needs to trust that the community will independently develop its own leadership and have good judgment to make critical decisions that will have a significant impact on the future of the protocol.
After many trials, Jupiter now has a large, active DAO, and every vote, regardless of size, is accompanied by an extremely active debate, which allows us to address some key issues well.
2. Community Eats First (CEF)
The CEF is an important part of our work to provide the community and holders with a high degree of certainty that the team's allocation will not cause a shock to supply or sustained damage, and that the team will be fully committed to executing all proposed plans over an extended period of time, ensuring that its benefits are 100% aligned with the community and any proposed plans.
