Trump says deal with Fox News, debate with Harris on September 4
On August 3rd, the US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he had reached an agreement with Fox News to debate Vice President Harris on September 4th, and if she was "unwilling or unable" to attend on that day, he would hold a citizens' meeting on the Internet. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the debate would be held in Pennsylvania at a location to be determined. Trump was scheduled to face off against President Biden at a debate hosted by ABC News, and Harris has been urging Trump to still attend. Trump said in the post that the ABC debate was "partially terminated because Biden is no longer running." (Kim Ten)
