The US spot bitcoin ETF saw the largest daily outflow in 90 days
The U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETF saw its largest single-day outflow in more than 90 days (over 60 trading days) since May 1 on Friday, August 2. The total outflow for the full day on August 2 was $237.45 million, also the 4th highest single-day outflow since the launch of the Spot Bitcoin ETF in January. The total outflow for the full day on May 1 was $563.77 million. Although the single-day outflows were large, the total volume of transactions was hardly exceptional, and while the price of Bitcoin continued to slide towards the $60,000 mark, the total net asset value of all ETFs remained near all-time highs.
