Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. has hired Point72 CFO Anthony Paquette as CFO, according to a person familiar with the matter. Paquette served as CFO of Point72, an asset management firm of Steven Cohen, for more than four years. Before that, he served as head of the business unit at financial technology company SoFi and managing director of JPMorgan Chase & Co. According to the person, who asked not to be named, Anthony Paquette will move to the role of senior advisor to Galaxy starting in January, as the appointment has not been made public.
