Hong Kong court orders disclosure of financial information in MANTRA DAO's multimillion-dollar case
On August 14, it was reported that the Hong Kong High Court has ordered point persons involved in the MANTRA DAO project to disclose financial records in response to allegations of asset misappropriation and unauthorized control. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant was originally associated with RioDeFi and embezzled the assets and business of MANTRA DAO, thereby seizing control without proper authorization. The financial operations of MANTRA DAO have been largely opaque since January 2021, when the defendant was accused of starting to conceal financial reports. The court has directed that detailed financial spreadsheets and supporting documents be handed over to the plaintiff's legal and financial advisors. It is learned that Mantra is a layer1 blockchain designed to launch tokenized real-world assets, OM being its governance token.
