A16z plans to establish its first Asian office in Japan
On August 16th, according to Nikkei coverage, American venture capital firm a16z (Andreessen Horowitz) is about to establish its first Asian office in Japan, aiming to attract Japanese companies that want to invest in startups. According to three people familiar with the matter, the company's executives and investor relations officials have repeatedly explained to limited partners the plan to establish an office in Japan, but it has not yet been finalized.
