Coinbase CEO: artificial intelligence "should have a crypto wallet"
Coinbase recently launched an artificial intelligence accelerator grant program to award $3,000 to five projects focused on combining artificial intelligence with crypto wallets. Brad Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, said that large language models (LLMs), if properly equipped, can accomplish finance-related tasks.
According to Coinbase, the grant is intended to test the waters of artificial intelligence-enabled economic applications: "A major barrier to using AI to build utility applications is the inability of AI agents to obtain bank accounts to send/receive automated payments. The on-chain solution solves this problem." Those interested in applying for the grant must submit their applications by September 5.
