"There is nothing in this case that advances the core mission of the SEC," he stressed. However, Ripple's chief legal officer cast doubt on the securities regulator's rationality, noting: "But we all know that the Securities Exchange Commission has proven itself to be irrational when it comes to cryptocurrencies." He added: "In our case, the court criticized the Securities Exchange Commission for engaging in litigation games and tactics rather than faithfully applying the law."
