Cryptocurrency custodian Anchorage Digital will launch a rewards program for customers who host PYUSD
On August 23rd, crypto custodian Anchorage Digital announced on August 22nd the launch of a reward program for customers who host the PayPal USD (PYUSD) stablecoin. The program is available to customers who host PYUSD in Anchorage Digital or its institutional self-custodial wallet, Porto. PYUSD remains fully accessible and segregated in participants' on-chain accounts, allowing for rapid deployment. The program does not involve rehypothecation, staking or borrowing to earn rewards.
PayPal launched PYUSD in 2023, issued by the Paxos Trust Company and pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar.
As an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, PYUSD will be available to a large and growing community of external developers, wallets, and Web3 applications.
