MultiversX partners with Cornell University to launch a free blockchain education program

MultiversX has partnered with Cornell University's eCornell to launch a free Blockchain Fundamentals course program designed to provide 100 disadvantaged college students with a two-month online learning opportunity. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate and have access to MultiversX's mentorship, support, and funding to develop blockchain projects that benefit the community. The program will begin on July 17, 2024, and the application deadline is June 23, 2024. Application conditions include current college student status, English language ability, and financial hardship. Course fees of the original $3,750 are covered by sponsorship, and students do not bear the cost. Beniamin Mincu, CEO of MultiversX, said that blockchain is an open field of learning that anyone who is interested can participate in. This initiative aims to make blockchain technology accessible to more communities and simplify their entry into the Web3 and MultiversX ecosystems.
