Cyber Capital founder: L2 poses certain risks and has the ability to transfer users' funds without restrictions
Justin Bons, founder and chief investment officer of European cryptocurrency fund Cyber Capital, has again criticized the operation of the Ethereum L2 solution. In a recent X post on Saturday, Bons flagged these blockchain platforms, which are designed to increase the scalability of the Ethereum network, as dangerous because of their ability to move users' funds without restrictions.
Justin Bons said that most major Ethereum L2 solutions are centralized, with a single server typically responsible for running the platform's operations. This design goes against Cypherhunk's principles of decentralization and security, and is harmful to investors, as these chains can crash at any time due to a single event, or even be manipulated to steal users' funds.
