Bitfarms will develop a large mining farm in Pennsylvania, USA
Bitcoin miner Bitfarms reiterated that the proposed acquisition by RiotPlatforms is not in the best interests of its shareholders, and subsequently announced that it has reached an agreement to develop its first large-scale mining farm in Pennsylvania, USA, which will enhance the miner's overall power supply capacity. This is expected to enable Bitfarms to increase power capacity to 648 trillion watts by 2025, an increase of 170% from current capacity and 47% from its target capacity by the end of 2024. The company said: "The site is capable of supporting 8EH/s, and together with our recent acquisition of another 100MW in Paraguay, we expect hashrate to exceed 35EH/s in 2025."
