On September 18th, Google Cloud's blockchain remote procedure call (RPC) service is currently only compatible with Ethereum, but will soon support more blockchains. Google Cloud has launched a blockchain remote procedure call (RPC) service that makes it easier for cryptocurrency developers to interact with blockchain data and enhances the reliability of decentralized applications (DApps). Google Cloud said in a Sept. 17 blog post that the new service will initially be compatible with the Ethereum mainnet and testnet, with plans to expand to other blockchains over the next year. Initially launched as a free tier, the blockchain RPC service offers up to 100 call requests per second, up to 1 million requests per day, and supports EIP-1474 (a set of RPC methods defined for Ethereum nodes).
