Google Cloud plans to expand its blockchain RPC service from Ethereum to more blockchains
On September 18th, Google Cloud's blockchain remote procedure call (RPC) service is currently only compatible with Ethereum, but will soon support more blockchains. Google Cloud has launched a blockchain remote procedure call (RPC) service that makes it easier for cryptocurrency developers to interact with blockchain data and enhances the reliability of decentralized applications (DApps).
Google Cloud said in a Sept. 17 blog post that the new service will initially be compatible with the Ethereum mainnet and testnet, with plans to expand to other blockchains over the next year. Initially launched as a free tier, the blockchain RPC service offers up to 100 call requests per second, up to 1 million requests per day, and supports EIP-1474 (a set of RPC methods defined for Ethereum nodes).
