The President of El Salvador has proposed the establishment of a private investment bank for bitcoin investors
El Salvador's bitcoin-supporting president, Nayib Bukele, has proposed establishing a private investment bank in the country that, if approved, would give bitcoin investors access to financial services with fewer restrictions than traditional banks.
Milena Mayorga, El Salvador's ambassador to the US, wrote in a June 14 article: "As part of El Salvador's economic plan, we propose the establishment of a Private Investment Bank (BPI) that would provide potential investors with diversified financing options in dollars and bitcoin."
