The FBI has found evidence that Iranian hackers stole material from the Trump campaign this summer and gave it to either the Biden or Harris campaigns at the time. The report noted that the emails were sent to "persons associated with the Biden campaign" in June and July, when Biden was a Democratic candidate. The FBI uncovered the "unsolicited" evidence in the course of its investigation into election interference. The government statement noted that the emails "contained excerpts from non-public material stolen from former President Trump's campaign as the text of the emails". The Harris campaign issued a statement saying they were "victims" of the hack.
