U.S. stocks opened higher and walked higher. The three major indexes collectively closed higher. The Nasdaq rose 2.51%, the S & P 500 rose 1.7%, and the Dow rose 1.26%. Among them, the S & P 500 and the Dow both hit record highs. Large technology stocks rose generally, Tesla rose more than 7%, Nvidia, Meat, and Apple rose more than 3%, Netflix rose more than 2%, and Intel, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon rose more than 1%. Skechers fell nearly 10%, its largest one-day decline in seven months.
