"Big bear" Eisman retracts Trump's victory prediction, changes his mouth and says the election result is unpredictable

Steve Eisman, a senior portfolio manager at Lubberman, has now reversed his prediction that Donald Trump would win by saying he does not know who will win the US Presidential Election. In an interview on Thursday, Mr. Eisman said the reason was President Joe Biden's decision to withdraw: "I have withdrawn that prediction". Steve Eisman said in July that Trump would win the November presidential election regardless of Biden's withdrawal. He said that if Democrats win the House and Senate and the White House, the market will fall straight on the expectation of higher taxes. But if Harris is in the White House and the Democrats don't win big, then the market will be "fine". He also said that if Trump wins, the stock market will rise regardless of the outcome of Congress, because investors will take tax cuts for granted. Eisman said Harris's election would boost solar stocks. Eisman reiterated that his portfolio is dominated by artificial intelligence, technology stocks and infrastructure sectors.
