The three major U.S. stock indexes collectively closed up, with the Dow up 0.2%, the Nasdaq up 0.56%, the S & P 500 up 0.25%, most popular technology stocks rose, NVIDIA rose more than 3%, and Tesla and Intel rose more than 1%.
