According to TIE Endpoint data, 33 DeFi companies announced fundraising last month. Cryptocurrency companies raised $823 million in September alone, spread across 200 different companies that raised money last month. Celestia's ecosystem fundraising 100 million dollars topped the list, followed by Infinex, which raised $65 million through a public token sale. Strategic financings like Celestia topped the list last month, in part due to the TON Foundation raising money for its ecosystem fund. But seed rounds topped the list, according to TIE data. 41 companies raised seed rounds last month.
