Blockstream Founder Adam Back Reveals He's Not Satoshi Nakamoto
On October 8th, in response to the crypto community's speculation that "Blockstream founder Adam Back is the founder of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto", Adam Back responded on X that he entered the IRC channel of bitcoin-wizards in 2013 to ask a lot of bitcoin technical questions, such as address balance and UTXO, and provided the channel log of the IRC at that time, indicating that he was still learning the specifics of Bitcoin at that time. Adam Back pointed out that although he is fast and creative in learning, he only proposed the concepts of Schnorr signature, confidential transactions, mining decentralization, client side verification, and sidechains in the second half of 2013, thus further proving that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto.
Previously, in May 2020, Adam Back had denied rumors that he was Satoshi Nakamoto.
