Argentina officially launched a registration system for virtual asset service providers
Argentina's securities regulator (CNV) has announced the official launch of the Argentine Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registry, allowing nearly 100 companies and individuals to apply for authorization to provide digital asset-related services in the country. Given that the regulator only allows registered entities to operate legally in Argentine jurisdictions, the registry will remain open for more companies to submit applications. The CNV has authorized 35 different companies, with the first batch including four foreign exchanges.
