On October 23rd, a16z founder Marc Andreessen talked about the origin of Truth Terminal and the creation process of Meme coin GOAT in a podcast. He described how the artificial intelligence robot started promoting GOAT meme and then created a Meme token for it, which quickly grew to a valuation of $500 million. Andreessen described this as the first real merger of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. Earlier, Marc Andreessen wrote on the X platform: "This summer I offered a $50,000 no-strings-attached individual research grant to Terminal of Truths and its creators. The grant was designed to support independent artificial intelligence research with excellent results, but I have no relationship with Meme token GOAT, no financial interest, and do not own any of its tokens."
