The three major indices of US stocks collectively closed down, the Dow fell 0.96%, the Nasdaq fell 1.60%, and the S & P 500 fell 0.92%. Chip stocks generally fell, ARM fell nearly 7%, Qualcomm and Broadcom fell more than 3%, and Nvidia and Micron Technology fell nearly 3%.
