More than 60% of cryptocurrency investors in Indonesia are under the age of 30
According to data released by Indonesia's Commodity Futures Trading Regulator (Bappebti) and local cryptocurrency platforms, more than 60% of cryptocurrency investors in the country are between the ages of 18 and 30. The September report revealed that 26.9% of investors are between the ages of 18 and 24, while 35.1% are between the ages of 25 and 30.
In addition to demographics, Bappebti also reported that the total amount of crypto asset transactions reached 33.67 trillion Indonesian rupiah, which is about 2.10 billion dollars. In September, the number of crypto users in Indonesia reached 21.27 million.
