President Joe Biden had a phone call with Nigerian President Bora Tinubu, the White House announced on Tuesday, in which Biden praised Nigeria's role in joint law enforcement and technology initiatives, as well as its commitment to reforming international organizations. President Biden particularly applauded cooperation in the area of law enforcement, including through the recently announced Bilateral Contact Group on Illicit Finance and Cryptocurrencies, cooperation on new and innovative technologies, and a shared interest in reforming international organizations to reflect African voices.
