Microsoft shareholders have begun a preliminary vote on whether the company should invest in bitcoin. Previously, it was reported that Microsoft listed issues to be discussed at the next shareholder meeting in a Form A filing with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 24. One of the proposals suggested that the tech company should study bitcoin as a hedge against inflation and other macroeconomic effects.
