Nvidia is reported to have reached an agreement to acquire software startup Shoreline
Nvidia has agreed to buy Shoreline.io, a start-up for software developers founded by former Amazon Web Services (AWS) executives, according to people familiar with the matter. The deal, which was recently struck, values Shoreline at about $100 million, according to people familiar with the matter. Based in Redwood City, California, Shoreline makes software that can find problems and accidents in computer systems and help automate their resolution. The company was founded in 2019 by Anurag Gupta, who spent eight years at AWS. Nvidia rose to become the world's largest company by market capitalization by being at the heart of building the computer systems needed to create and run AI software. Nvidia has been acquiring startups, but hasn't always disclosed acquisitions that aren't as significant to the $3.30 trillion company.
