US media: Iran plans to launch a violent combined attack on Israel

On November 4th, according to the Wall Street Journal, Iranian and Arab officials with knowledge of Iran's retaliation plans said that Iran's response to the recent Israeli attack may involve missiles and other weapons carrying larger warheads. < b > Whether the Iranian threat is real or not remains to be seen . So far, Israel has refrained from striking Iran's oil and nuclear facilities, which are vital to Iran's economy and security. But Israeli officials said that thinking could change. Iranian and Arab officials said Iran said its regular army would be involved because it lost four soldiers and a civilian in the Israeli attack. The involvement of the regular army does not mean that its troops will be deployed, but Iran's Revolutionary Guard, which usually handles security matters with Israel, would not act alone in such a situation. An Egyptian official said Iran had privately warned of a strong combined response.
