According to Lookonchain, a whale with 398,891 ETH ($1.14 billion) began selling today after being dormant for more than eight years.
In the last 6 hours, 13,400 ETH ($37.38 million) have been sold, with an average sale price of $2,790. On-chain monitoring identified 28 wallets that all started accumulating ETH in January 2016, with an average ETH cost of around $3.50. All 28 wallets transferred ETH to new wallets in August 2016, and these 28 wallets are likely to belong to the same giant whale.
