The former Alameda CEO will begin serving his prison sentence on November 7 local time

The former CEO of Alameda Research, Caroline Ellison, is expected to serve her prison sentence on November 7 local time on charges of participating in the criminal activities of the crypto exchange FTX. As of the time of this article's publication, the US Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) website states that Ellison is not in custody, but has provided the inmate number as well as her age, race and gender. On September 24, U.S. District Court Judge Lewis Kaplan for the Southern District of New York sentenced Ellison to two years in prison. She is expected to turn herself in as early as November 7.
