FTX files lawsuit against Anthony Scaramucci and his hedge fund SkyBridge Capital
FTX filed a lawsuit against Anthony Scaramucci and his hedge fund SkyBridge Capital as part of a broader effort to recover money for creditors of bankrupt companies. The lawsuit against the former White House communications director is one of 23 filed Friday in Delaware Bankruptcy Court. Court documents show that plaintiffs also include political groups such as digital asset exchange Crypto.com and the FWD.US founded by Mark Zuckerberg.
FTXA claims that Bankman-Fried invested $67 million in various SkyBridge ventures in 2022 because Scaramucci had been "seeking a bailout". SkyBridge's assets under management have fallen from a high of $9 billion in 2015 to $2.20 billion, according to documents. Representatives for Scaramucci declined to comment.
