DAO Governance Infrastructure Tally to Launch Tally Protocol
On June 21, Dennison, CEO and co-founder of DAO governance infrastructure Tally, tweeted that Tally will launch Tally Protocol. Tally Protocol unlocks the economic potential of governance tokens by providing a liquidity layer for governance staking and re-staking, while optimizing the distribution of voting rights to bring economic security back to the blockchain protocol.
In addition, the Tally Protocol will include a smart contract layer (allowing DAO token holders to mint Tally Liquid staking tokens tLSTs); enable governance re-staking (users can pledge governance tokens to Tally and receive tLSTs that can be deposited into the re-staking system, and the voting rights associated with governance tokens will still be valid); improve the security of the DAO (the protocol is redistributed by returning undelegated voting rights to the DAO, and the undelegated tokens pledged in the protocol will also be returned to the DAO for redistribution); incentivize effective governance (by requiring token holders to delegate to active participants for equity rewards, voting rights remain in the hands of active DAO voters, thus enhancing It provides security against malicious attacks and prevents passive governance. It continuously incentivizes DAO representatives (a fair and transparent mechanism to reward active representatives).
